Logitech Increases Prices Up to 25% for Its Products Due to Trump Tariffs

President Donald Trump’s tariffs against Chinese goods are still in effect and are not exempted from the temporary pause, with Logitech adapting to the changes forced upon by these tariffs.

However, while Logitech did not opt to take products out of their catalog or halt sales, it instead chose to jack up the prices of its products.

Logitech Increases Prices For Up to 25%

A YouTuber named Cameron Dougherty revealed the significant price increase that the company has already implemented with its products. The increase includes the different items for sale in Logitech’s website, including keyboards, computer mice, and the other peripherals that the company offers to the public.

The Verge reported that there are indeed price increases on several of Logitech’s products, and a Wayback Machine review of its previous listing confirms that there are changes to the prices.

Dougherty noted several products like the K400 Plus Wireless Touch keyboard, which was only previously priced at $27.99, is now at $34.99. On the other hand, the Pro X TKL is now at $219.99 when it was previously $199.99.

The MX Master 3S mouse saw a $20 price increase to $119.99 from its previous cost of only $99.99.

While there are other products from Logitech that were not affected by the price increase like the MX Ergo mouse and the G703 gaming mouse, Logitech has also applied a price decrease for the likes of the Pro X Superlight mouse, which is now only $149.99.

Many companies have already braced for impact as President Trump’s tariffs imposed higher rates on different countries importing their goods to the United States. Companies like Amazon have now opted to sell items directly from their US warehouses to avoid the higher rates.

The silver lining now is that President Trump issued a 90-day pause, but it does not include China in the list, meaning the US continues to tax the country greatly. That being said, there is also a special pause for smartphones, laptops, and more that fall under the semiconductor industry, but is only for a month or two.

Many companies have opted to halt the sales of their products, such as Razer and Framework, but others opted for a more expensive pricing in the country.

While it seemingly looks like companies or manufacturers are significantly affected, the American public is the one who will face these effects in the long run, especially as most products are sourced from international partners.
