CID is an iconic show and everyone has been loving it. It won’t be wrong to say that this is one show with no haters. Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty and Aditya Srivastava have been entertaining the audience since 1998. The show had gone off-air in 2018, but due to high public demand, it returned with season 2 in 2024. ACP Pradyuman, Daya and Abhijeet made everyone fall in love with the show all over again. All the other characters of the show have also been quite famous. CID 2 got love from the audience and it is now available on Netflix too.
In season two, we slowly had other characters enter. Recently, Inspector Sachin also made a comeback. Hrishikesh Pandey plays the role of Sachin. Recently, the news about ACP Pradyuman death has left everyone shocked. Shivaji Satam also confirmed that he is not shooting at the moment and it was all a creative call.
The death sequence broke many hearts and during that time, even Sachin slipped into coma. After ACP Pradyuman’s death, a new ACP entered. Parth Samthaan will now be seen as ACP Ayushmaan. He has taken over the duties and fans have loved his first episode.

But, a few of the people are upset and want ACP Pradyuman back. People have slammed the makers for removing the main character. Post that, it was being said that the makers are bringing him back. Now, Hrishikesh Pandey aka Sachin has opened up about these rumours. This is a big story in entertainment news and TV news.
He spoke to BollywoodLife and said, “I have no idea about that because this is absolutely the makers, channel head and the creatives’ call. We do not know that. Even Shivaji Satam has spoken in his interviews that he has no idea. As actors, our part if just to play the character. That is what we are doing. Even I saw a scene which even I had no idea about. There was a scene where ACP was shouting and saying something to Sachin. So, even I had no idea about it. We are also wondering how it is going to turn out ahead.”
