Fintech is changing fast. Every year brings new innovations, tools, and services. This year is no different. Let’s dive into the top fintech trends you’ll want to keep an eye on. One of the most significant trends in fintech is the rise of embedded finance. This concept refers to integrating financial services within non-financial platforms…

A recent report of a highly sophisticated phishing attack exploiting Google services targeting a lead developer at Ethereum Foundation, Nick Johnson, proves that internet users need to take more precautions to protect themselves from social engineering tactics like phishing. The attack’s sophistication lies in hackers’ ability to make every element look highly legitimate. In this attack, hackers circumvented the DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) signature checks, which are designed to verify if an email is actually from the acclaimed domain. Due to this bypass, Google will not warn you about an impending cyberattack. In Nick’s case, the phishing came from no-reply@accounts.google.com, an email with a legitimate domain. The phishing link, however, has “sites.google.com” in its URL. How could this be possible? Hackers created an imitation support portal page with sites.google.com, originally designed to help Google account owners create basic websites. A link to the support page is then embedded in the phishing

On paper, it’s hard to quibble with NVIDIA’s pricing on its newly minted GeForce RTX 5060 Ti (see our review), even with much of the uplift over last-gen coming from DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation. The 16GB model at a $429 MSRP is actually $70 less than the launch price of the previous generation GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, while the 8GB’s $379 starting price is $20 cheaper than the card it’s replacing. In practice? It’s another hard-to-find GPU, and some listings on eBay are priced upwards of $800. We’re not sure whether to laugh or cry. Either way, nobody should be paying a 2x markup over NVIDIA’s baseline MSRP for what’s supposed to a semi-affordable mid-range graphics card. And so far, it doesn’t look like people are—taking a gander at completed auctions that attracted a buyer, we only see one, a factory overclocked Zotac GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Twin Edge 16GB model that sold for $650. That’s still a 51.5% markup over the starting MSRP. Even accounting for the usual premium attached to partner models sporting cu

If you still get a basket of goodies from the Easter Bunny, it’s probably filled with chocolates, jelly beans, and perhaps a minor gift or two (Steam gift card, maybe?). Maybe this year the furry home invader will leave a high-tech surprise, too. If you don’t want to bank on it, however, you can take matters into your hands with an absolutely massive discount on an iPad Pro. You have to be fast, though. Today’s ‘Deal of the Day’ at Best Buy is Apple’s 12.9-inch iPad Pro (6th Generation) for $1,199 (save $1,000), which is a 45% discount over MSRP. It’s packed full of storage, too—this is the 2TB model (the most available), not the 256GB SKU. The only caveat, other than it being a one-day discount, is that the offer is specific to the silver colorway. If you want the Space Black variant instead, pricing leaps to $1,599. That’s still a sizable $600 discount (you can use the same link—just select the alternative color option), but we don’t fancy paying an additional $400 just for a color change. The 6th gen model
