In a clash against Bangladesh, they set up a target of 136 runs and lost 8 wickets. However, their bowlers put their best efforts and saved the match for them and got them a ticket to the finals against the Indian team. Star pacers Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf bowled brilliantly and took three wickets each and stole the win from Bangladesh.

After interacting with the fans, Haris Rauf was seen blowing flying kisses before heading back. However, the Asia Cup has already been controversial for him, as he previously faced heavy criticism for making objectionable gestures toward the crowd during the Super Four match against India.
