Fans are being given the chance to buy drum kits used on tour by blink-182 star Travis Barker – for up to $35k (£26.5k).
The legendary drummer is selling a collection of studio and tour-used kits as well as memorabilia from throughout his career.
He announced the reopening of the Official Travis Barker Reverb Shop last week.
The selection went up for sale yesterday (Thurs) and will feature four drums used by the celeb – who is married to socialite Kourtney Kardashian.
The star item will be the DW drum kit, which was played on stage by Barker during the band’s recent ‘One More Time Tour’ – and is listed for $35,000.
An Orange County Drum and Percussion Kit used throughout the Neighborhoods era and a Roland V-Drum that Barker used for several projects will also be on offer.
Additionally, there will be an Orange County Drum and Percussion Kit featured, complete with a rototom, that was used throughout his work with rap-rock group The Transplants.
On this item, the star said: “It has grip tape on the bass drum. Because on those tours a lot of times Skinhead Rob and Tim Armstrong will jump on my bass drum and go flying or slip.”
This final kit will also cost one lucky buyer $30,000 (£22.6k).
Aside from drums, fans will be able to get their hands on a bag, a puzzle, skate decks, a surfboard, and other memorabilia owned by the musician.
These items range from $500 (£377) for a skateboard deck to $2,000 (£1,510) for a surfboard.
A spokesperson from Reverb says that these prices were set by the musician himself, and that the items will not be up for auction.
This is the second time that the star has partnered with the music site to get gear from his personal collection into the hands of fans through his official shop.
Lauren Tolliver, Reverb’s senior artist relations manager, said: “Reverb connects millions of music makers with the perfect gear, from guitars found at mom and pop shops to the one-of-a-kind studio-and tour-used drums and more found in The Official Travis Barker Reverb Shop.
“After the successful sell-out of the dozens of items Travis listed on Reverb in 2021, we’re excited that fans and fellow musicians alike have a new option to check out—including the DW drum kit he played on blink-182’s “One More Time” tour last summer.
“Making the world more musical is our goal, and we’re excited to have Travis and his gear back on Reverb!”
The collection comes just a week after the announcement of Blink-182’s Missionary Impossible tour, which will take place across the US later this year.
